Hi, everyone! I'm Bethany.
I love coffee, books, and horses - in that order. Of course, I also love writing, and just recently published my second novel, Tomorrow's Promise. Historical fiction is my favorite genre, though I also like suspense and a bit of romance mixed in. As a Christian author, I strive to write stories full of action and intrigue, while sharing important Biblical truths. My goal is to honor the Lord in every area of my life - including my books.

My Story
I was blessed to grow up in a Christian home, and accepted Christ as my Savior at a young age. It was always important to my parents, and later to me, that I be careful what I allow to influence me. Books are a great influence in a person's life - even novels. As an avid reader, I soon realized there weren't as many good Christian books as I would have liked in the genre and style I enjoyed. Well, I had all the stories in my head - why not write them out? Thus, I discovered the desire to write books for other young Christians like me.
Publishing had always been a dream of mine, but I didn't actively work towards it for many years. I finally decided while writing "Sins of the Past" to make this dream reality. I chose to take the self-publishing route and leaped into it wholeheartedly. Has it been more work than I expected? Yes. Have I reconsidered at times? Yes. Has it been worth it? Also yes.
I write because I love it. But I also write for the other young people out there whose lives I hope to impact in even a small way. I pray that you will be blessed through my books!
